Memory Sun is more than just a mapping application; it's a dynamic social platform designed to archive human experiences in a unique, geolocated way. Built on the Lens infrastructure, our app allows you to record, share, and explore memories based on their real-world locations. Imagine walking into a park and accessing a catalog of stories, sounds, and experiences that have occurred right where you stand. From the laughter of a first date to the philosophical musings of a late-night walk, every pinned memory contributes to a collective human narrative.
But Memory Sun isn't just about individual experiences. It serves as a digital memorial, allowing you to pin gravestones and share stories about relatives or friends, giving them a space to be remembered forever. How it's Made
Memory Sun is built on Expo for seamless cross-platform capabilities and incorporates Expo Router for efficient navigation. We've integrated Lens Protocol v2, an open social graph, to create a secure and ethical platform for users to contribute to a shared memory map. Wallet Connect handles blockchain-based authentication, adding an extra layer of security.
For the mapping component, Apple Maps is our go-to for its precise location-based features. XMTP is incorporated to facilitate real-time messaging between users, enriching the experience of sharing and discovering memories. These diverse technologies come together to form a dynamic, secure, and interactive social memory archive.
