Project Description
The current healthcare data model is broken, and consumers' healthcare data is sold and resold for billions of profit. This project's social impact respects individuals' privacy via web3 storage (@IPFS), enables individuals to share their health records with doctors by Ethereum contract, and facilitates data exchanges for compensation to individuals through tokenomics.
How it's Made
A few like minded and motivated cat lovers and folks with healthcare industry experienced coalesced at ETH New York. Our idea first gelled in a stick-person diagram before we transformed it into Medichain combined with web2 and web3 technologies. In reflection, our rose 🌹 is having used web3 technology like IPFS; our thorn 🪡 is to tackle how to properly decentralize data with centralized backend; our bud 🌱 is to continue making avenues in the healthcare industry with web3 technologies.
