Medcare is a blockchain-based platform designed to revolutionize the management of medical information while ensuring the utmost privacy and security for users
This project helps secure medical data sharing by encrypting and partially decrypting sensitive information, maintaining patient privacy, and ensuring regulatory compliance such as blood type. It empowers patients with control over their data, improves emergency response times, and facilitates secure sharing of anonymized data for medical research with the help of INCO technology to help us encrypt and decrypt information.
In this project, we used INCO technology, focusing on its FHA encryption to encrypt, share, and decrypt private information from patients' medical records. In this proof of concept, we managed to encrypt a patient's blood type associated with a unique ID and then accessed this information partially without compromising user privacy. We only revealed the patient's RH factor.
We used various tools such as Scaffold to deploy and test the smart contract, as well as Vercel for the frontend and the INCO testnet to leverage its tools.
