This project stemmed from a need to have hyperlocal experiences for every user that travels for crypto events. Ever been to EthTokyo but not able to experience Night Life because you don't know someone? Been to EthDelhi and were not able to find the best PaniPuri stall? We solve this, for crypto events! Why crypto? Because it crosses international borders and solves the currency conversion issues. I travelled to Delhi last month for EthGlobal new Delhi, and had a hard time to figure out local cuisine and local experiences. Luckily, I had a cousin with me who took me to the best local sunset spots and food stalls, and I know that no one can show me Delhi better than this, that is a hyperlocal travel.

But, what if someone did not have that cousin? The answer: So many locals going to crypto events, can become hosts, make money and build connections and a network. Every local coming to a web3 event (say EthGlobal New Delhi), wants to build experiences and can spend about 3-4 hours to meet new people and solve the currency issues for them.

A local person can use their own currency to solve the currency issues and accept money from other users using crypto and pay around with local currency! Solving a lot of issues.

Our app uses Supabase for the backend, Next.js for the frontend and regular smart contracts for currency and money transactions. Any user can come on the app and look around for experiences that are available for the next few months/days. If they want to actually spend some time to go and book an experience, they have to log into the system. Once they log in with the wallet, they are able to book an experience and need to stake 20% of the amount for show-up purposes.

Once they book, they can meet with the host at the particular point, and enjoy their hyperlocal- short 2-3 hour experience!
