LZICA

Making Interchain accounts stack on top of LayerZero allowing for a new interoperability primitive

Project Description

Interchain accounts is a standard very well adopted in Cosmos that allows an account on a certain chain to control the actions on a remote chain. One of the use-cases is for DAOs to be able to control accounts on other chains and permissionlessly manage them strictly through interactions on the primary chain. For example, they can put their liquidity on a yield vault on a different chain which is not their home chain without having to create a new multisig to hold the funds on that chain.

How it's Made

I have adapted the LayerZero core OApp standard to add support for the functionality of delegated calls via MultiCall contracts. The primary design is taken from Hyperlane which provides similar functionality. LayerZero however provides the advantages in terms of users being able to pick their own security stack for the application.
