Dapp for Mexican women where they can receive a UBI that allows them to develop their professional career and escalate their socioeconomic status.
We learned that in Mexico there is a huge problem: "Non sexual education = pregnancies at an early age = financial limitations." There are alarming hard data, for example that in Mexico there are 1000 teenage pregnancies a day, approximately 350,000 a year. In addition, teenage mothers have 3 times fewer opportunities to finish a degree compared to those who were able to delay their motherhood. To solve this problem, we decided to use an incentive as a tool: the UBI. And to make it useful, we created a DAPP focused (in this first stage) on Mexican women, specifically based in Mexico City. Through this Dapp they will be able to receive a semi-annual UBI, as long as there is no pregnancy between the ages of 18 and 25. A fundamental part of the process is the partnership with Worldcoin, as this helps us make it an effective system by proving humanity and the unique registry of women subscribers, using "the orb". Onboarding will be through a certified gynecologist who will have the device in her office. Once the verification has been completed, there will be access to the DAPP and later the clinical record of the patient will be recorded, who must attend a semestral follow-up appointment that certifies that there are no pregnancies and can continue receiving the UBI without problem until the age of 25 . Other benefits of the dapp are financial education, sexual education and contraceptive control.
For this project we decided to work together with Worldcoin, since it is essential to be able to prove that there is a single person record and also maintain anonymity since medical data is confidential. This allows the program to be more effective, because in this way we ensure that the UBI is put to good use and that false records are not created or that it is a corruptible system. Without Worldcoin this would not be possible because it is also a way of introducing our user to web3 without having to have a complicated onboarding.
