Livestream overlays: Livepeer, OBS, and Zora

This project constructed GraphQL queries on the ZORA API to gather market data related to the WZRDS NFT collection. Those calls populated a constantly updating website (using Fastify and Node.js) that was used as a widget for a livestream that could be used to discuss the project.

The livestream ran with OBS and was distributed by Livepeer, a distributed platform. The Livepeer stream was also integrated into a website.

I used the project to learn these basic technologies: OBS, Livepeer, and ZORA API. I had some familiarity with GraphQL, which was important to create appropriate queries. The widget relied on basic web development in javascript without any special framework).

Livepeer was outstanding in its ease of use, documentation, and reliability. The Zora protocol has tremendous amounts of data that are updated fairly timely.

The most innovative thing in my project is simply the realization that the ZORA API opens a lot of ease into gathering NFT data that could be used for livestream overlay.
