LinkMonster is a mobile social game that blends NFC technology and blockchain to create real-world interactions with digital rewards. Players connect physically via NFC to earn tokens, mint unique AI-generated avatars, and participate in a DAO-governed ecosystem that funds public good projects and community initiatives.
This multi-chain application integrates Mantle, Base, and Ethereum, and leverages Worldcoin’s World ID for proof of personhood, ensuring only real humans can participate. Chainlink powers the game’s randomness and reward distribution, adding fairness and transparency.
🎮 Core Gameplay Connect IRL: Players earn rewards by physically tapping NFC-enabled devices or tags with other players. MonstrAvatars: Each player mints a unique, AI-generated monster avatar that represents them in the game. LinkTokens: Earned through NFC interactions, these tokens incentivize players to keep connecting. Dynamic Rewards: Players can earn anywhere from 100 to 10,000 LinkTokens per NFC tap. 🚀 Onboarding Flow Wallet Connection: Players connect a crypto wallet for in-game transactions. Proof of Humanity: World ID verifies each player to prevent bots. NFC Linking: Players link their NFC chips or tags for real-world interactions. Avatar Minting: Players mint their unique MonstrAvatar by paying a mint fee that feeds into the reward pot and DAO treasury. 💰 Reward & DAO System A portion of each minting fee goes into a reward pot. Another portion funds a LinkMonster DAO treasury, governed by players. When the pot reaches a set threshold, a raffle is triggered: 🏆 50% of the pot goes to a randomly chosen player (points are burned afterward). 🌱 50% supports public good projects or localized crowdfunding, as voted on by the DAO. Players then restart the race to fill the pot again.
LinkMonster leverages a powerful tech stack to bring its vision to life. For proof of humanity, it uses Worldcoin’s World ID, ensuring only verified real people can participate and preventing Sybil attacks. The platform supports multi-chain transactions across Mantle, Base, and Ethereum, allowing flexibility and scalability. To ensure fair and secure randomness for reward distribution and raffle winner selection, it integrates Chainlink VRF (Verifiable Random Function). On the frontend, wallet and NFC interactions are powered by libraries like Ethers.js and Web3.js, providing seamless blockchain connectivity. The user interface is built with React Native or Next.js for a mobile-first, responsive experience.
