An engaging web3 rougelike gaming experience with numerous earnable rewards
This project is a roguelike game where each the player gathers equipment throughout their run to earn more and more rewards. In its current state the actual gathering of equipment is non-existent due to additional time limitations on top of the short deadline.
The repository was changed to using google drive because of issues with uploading unity files to github due to the files being too large (old repository: https://github.com/SeaTiger11/Knights-Decent)
The project uses unity to create the base game and is designed to run in webgl allowing users to play the game from within their browser. In addition to the base game, the system uses chainsafe to implement web3 aspects allowing users to link their wallets and mint nfts using the implemented nft minter (which didn't entirely work in the end). The nfts that were minted have all their metadata stored on nft.storage as it allows for quick and easy storage of data and mobilization to use in minting of nfts. Initially the project was designed to use a custom solidity minting contract which would have included uploading custom metadata with randomly generated stats to nft.storage but the api that was going to be used seems to have been removed from chainsafe (EVM.CreateContractData) so the existing implementation was a bit rushed.
