Kewl Kevins

Kewl Kevins is a fully-decentralized play-to-earn puzzle game that can be played from the browser. The goal of the game is to skate your way through the fields and exit the stage.

Throughout the fields, you will encounter snowmen, rocks and bushes. These obstacles may be helpful or unhelpful for your journey. You see, your Kevin cannot control its direction after it walks. The obstacles are your only way to have your character stop and recalibrate its direction.

Playing a game requires you to stake 8 MATIC. If you manage to beat the puzzle within 16 minutes, you will win back your 8 MATIC along with other rewards. If not, you will still receive a consolation prize of 0.1 MATIC.

Besides the 8 MATIC stake, you will also need to hold a Kewl Kevin NFT, which is available to mint on the website, or to buy in third-party marketplaces like OpenSea. These NFTs are done minimally as they’re only made from SVG.

This website is built using React, and deployed as a decentralized app using Valist, and hosted in IPFS. The NFT’s metadata and SVG image is hosted in IPFS as well. We used CHAINLINK VRF to generate a random seed number for the generation of the puzzles.
