KEMBridge is a cross-chain bridge with post-quantum security and built-in AI analysis.
KEMBridge embodies the concept of a “next-generation cross-chain bridge”, with NEAR serving as the technological foundation for post-quantum security and streamlined UX. For the Near Foundation, the project’s value lies in showcasing NEAR’s capabilities (Chain Signatures, 1Click, Shade) in practice and delivering the first of its kind secure bridge for multichain DeFi.
This project uses cutting-edge post-quantum cryptography ML-KEM-1024 to secure cross-chain asset transfers between Ethereum and NEAR Protocol. The backend is built in Rust, featuring a modular microservices architecture with dedicated crates for authentication, cryptography, blockchain integration, and AI risk analysis. We integrated 1inch Fusion+ API for optimal swap routing, NEAR Chain Signatures for seamless UX, and a Python FastAPI service with scikit-learn for real-time transaction risk analysis. What makes this particularly innovative is the combination of quantum-resistant cryptography with AI-powered security analysis, creating the first truly future-proof cross-chain bridge ready for the post-quantum era.
