Using our app, a creator of a real life event (hackathon, party, travel...) can create an NFT corresponding to the event, and then mint it in real time to the attendees. The minting is triggered by the organizer scanning the QR code that each attendee can generate in our app. The app is made for normies, and has the aim of eventually onboarding them on the flow ecosystem. Indeed, while the user can use the app without ever engaging with web3 concepts, we still create a wallet on flow for each user under the hood. When and if the user feels she wants to embark on the web3 journey, she can access her securely stored private keys and begin using dapps in the flow ecosystem.

We used "Flow" for the NFT minting, since it is extremely cheap, which allows us to make the experience free for the users in a first phase. This is important to enhance the adoption from normies.

Also to hide the complexity from the user we have decided to use 2FA authenticator to connect to the Google Cloud Platform where we store the private keys in the Google Secret Manager.
