InterestSimulator
An interest earned simulator for the Aave deposits and borrows.
Project Description
The app allows the user to check how different assets that are available on Aave would have performed over the last 30 days. The graphic prepares the user for variable interest rates and helps calculate the cost of borrowing against your own collateral given the offset of the locked in assets.
How it's Made
This project uses the Graph API for Aave V2. The app queries the last 30 days for the historical entries for liquidyIndex and variableBorrowRate in order to calculate more granular interest rates and calculate the accumulated interest earned or owed. It then compares the two to give the user an idea if they are likely to earn or owe interest.
