Intent-Wars

Intent Wars is a gamified DeFi strategy platform that transforms complex multi-chain finance operations into an interactive, magical game. Players take on the role of “on-chain alchemists” who craft optimized trading strategies in the form of mystical potions.

The core gameplay revolves around the Intent Playground, where users drag and drop Spell Cards — each representing a DeFi operation such as Swap, Bridge, or Lend — into a Potion Cauldron to define the flow of their strategy. Each spell can be configured with parameters like token type, chain, and amount, allowing users to experiment with multi-step DeFi operations without worrying about manual contract calls or cross-chain complexities.

Once the potion recipe is ready, players can simulate the brew using the Nexus SDK, which calculates expected outcomes such as yield, gas costs, and efficiency. This simulation provides detailed feedback, showing how efficient the strategy is, which steps contribute most to gas usage, and potential gains — giving players insight into how their potion would perform in a real-world scenario.

After simulation, players can execute the potion on-chain, where the underlying SDK handles the actual bridging, swapping, or lending operations. Each executed potion is stored as a completed strategy in the player’s dashboard.

PvP Mode allows users to compete against each other. When two players enter the PvP arena, they are matched into a shared game room. Both craft and simulate their potions, and once executed, the system compares strategies based on efficiency, yield, and gas consumption. The player with the most optimized strategy wins the duel. PvP introduces competitive gameplay, while also teaching users about real-world DeFi mechanics in an engaging, risk-free environment.

The UI is designed to reinforce the magical theme: a dark alchemy lab with glowing cauldrons, floating spell cards, pulsing runes, and shimmering effects during brewing. Animations, hover effects, and potion results make the strategy-building experience visually immersive.

Intent Wars bridges the gap between DeFi complexity and gamification by allowing users to experiment with multi-chain operations, learn efficient trading strategies, and compete in real-time — all through an engaging, interactive, and educational interface.

Frontend & UI: Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, the interface delivers an immersive magical experience with drag-and-drop spell cards, glowing cauldrons, and particle effects. Players can configure spell parameters like token, chain, and amount, and visually see their potion “brew” in real-time.

DeFi Logic & Multi-Chain Operations: All DeFi actions — bridging, swapping, lending, and executing complex contract calls — are fully functional using Avail Nexus Core SDK. The SDK provides unified balances across multiple chains, simulate-before-execute functionality, and ensures transactions are safe and optimized.

Backend & Game Mechanics: A lightweight Node.js backend manages PvP matchmaking, game rooms tied to wallet addresses, and determines winners based on potion efficiency, gas cost, and yield.

Transaction Tracking & Notifications: We integrated Blockscout APIs to provide seamless transaction notifications and history, enhancing the gameplay experience by letting players track every on-chain action linked to their potions.

Overall: The project combines web3 multi-chain operations, real-time DeFi simulations, and gamified UI elements into a single platform where users craft, simulate, execute, and compete with optimized DeFi strategies.
