This project makes use of the PoolTogether protocol and the power of a no loss lottery system to provide individuals and families a novel means of saving their annual vacation funds. The goal of this project was to create an experience that was as simple as possible while still opening the door for many to participate in the powerful decentralized financial mechanisms that exist today. In order to achieve this we have emphasized the importance of the user experience and attempted to create as easy and smooth of an experience for users of any level of web3 knowledge and background.

This project makes use of the Coinbase SDK/sandbox in order to provide a simple onboarding and on/off ramp experience for our users. We primarily targeted asset support for USDC initially and leveraged the prize vault contracts provided by Pool Together and available in apps such as cabana.fi to bootstrap a ready made pool in lieu of creating our own, favoring time to delivering a usable experience. The data presented in the home page is live and queried from the network, however in certain areas, chiefly the user dashboard and deposits/withdrawals, the data is mocked and intended for illustrative purposes.
