Hive

Hive allows for users to share verified trades and receive trades for sharing profitable ones! For experienced traders, Hive is a social platform where you can link a wallet, perform swaps on a DEX of choice, then easily share your verified trades. For new or beginning traders, Hive allows you to tip trades after seeing basic information, then tip to unlock the full details and reasoning behind the trade!

This project uses NextJS on the frontend, FastAPI for the backend, and Supabase for DB. Particularly for partner technologies, Hive integrates Envio's Hypersync API to scan for recent trades executed by a logged in user, Pyth to retrieve up-to-date and historical pricing for assets, along with PYUSD to power the tip platform. These APIs are all managed in relevant routes with FastAPI. Definitely one of the hardest parts was understanding the Hypersync API and the setup needed for it, necessitating some deep dives into DEX contracts and understanding where swap requests are routed to.
