HauntBlock: Filtering the phantom rush of forum threads, spotlighting only what matters to you. Hauntblock
Nutshell: This tool is designed to empower Aave ecosystem participants to effortlessly filter & track relevant activity on Aave governance forums, based on the user's wallet activity. Reduce the noise & mental fatigue associated with keeping up to date on shifts & changes that affect one's portfolio.
Problem: The Aave governance forum generates an overwhelming amount of posts for the most users to read through - users are part of other ecosystems as well and their attention is limited. The few posts that are relevant or critical to the user's portfolio get lost in the sea of information. To make matters worse, some of the posts put forward by risk service providers require a high level of technical understanding. Even when not, it's still hard for users to grasp the impact of parameter updates on their own individual positions.
Solution: Ideally, a threefold approach: Based on the wallet analysis of the user, filter out noise & only show governance forum activity that affects the user - provide a shortlist of posts to read up on. If user wishes to read materials - assist user with an LLM plugin for the comprehension of technical discussion & estimation of individual portfolio impacts. If user wishes to be passive - based on survey & past historical voting patterns recommend the best matching delegate to delegate to.
Out of this, only the first step has been tackled as part of the Hackathon.
