Project Description

This project leverages EAS to create a new social network for hackers. Any user can make any claim about a hacker. Hackers can request references from clients to create a history of their work. Employers can attest to employees working for their company, and they can also revoke this, creating a history of employment. Educational platforms can attest hackers completing a course. Hackathon organisers can attest to the winning hackers. Audit organisers can attest to hackers winning the biggest bounties.

How it's Made

This project uses the Ethereum Attestation Service to create a new a social network centred around a developer's X Factor (10x dev). This X factor is an aggregration of all attestations made about a hacker. The application uses Dynamic for easy login, Safe Smart Accounts + Pimlico Paymaster on Base for account abstraction. The project makes vital use of World ID for Proof of Personhood, this way we can know hackers are real people. There is a Registration attestation and a Cred attestation, but the possibilities are endless! A useful first feature is the ability to send a link so that someone can reference your work, the client doesnt need to have or know about a wallet either, they can sign in with social logins and attest to a hacker's work. In future, we would like to build a trust rating based on upvotes and downvotes of attestations, these can be validation or invalidation attestations themselves!
