The Web3 Mechanics: Trustless & Transparent Execution

Automated Escrow & Payouts: Smart contracts act as an impartial, automated referee. They hold all stakes and bets securely and execute payouts instantly and without bias once the result is verified. Tamper-Proof Verification: We use a decentralized oracle network to report the off-chain game result on-chain. This removes any possibility of one party cheating or disputing the outcome, guaranteeing fairness. Full User Sovereignty: All funds are handled directly through users' non-custodial wallets. We never take custody of their assets, ensuring complete security and user control.

The whole idea starts with a special browser add-on (an extension) we built. This is the magic piece. When you install it, it adds a "Challenge" button next to people's profiles on X . It was our first time building something like this, To build everything efficiently, we kept all our code for the browser add-on, the website, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff-in one highly organized monorepo. This just means we can build and update things much faster because everything is in one place.Instead of forcing you to create yet another new account, we simply let you sign in with your existing X account. It's quick, secure, and instantly links your social profile to your gaming challenges. To handle money and results, we use a special, super-fast and secure blockchain called the Flow blockchain. Here’s what it does: Keeps a Permanent Record: It stores a public, un-hackable record of everyone's wins and losses. Holds the Money Safely: When you and an opponent bet, the money goes into this digital vault, where it's locked and visible to everyone. No one can touch it until the game is over. Pays Winners Automatically: The moment the game ends, the "digital referee" instantly sends the money to the winner. It’s all automatic, so there’s no person in the middle who can make a mistake or delay things. It's 100% fair and transparent. The trickiest part was getting our browser add-on, the social media site, and our secure payment system to all talk to each other instantly.
