GOVERNOR

A new way to maintain a decentralized and secure governance for DAOs

GOVERNOR

Created At

ETHGlobal Brussels

Project Description

Currently in governance, the proposals are public and can be voted on by anyone who holds a token. However, the majority of those delegates don’t have enough impact on the voting outcomes, especially when it comes to constitutional proposals. To address this issue, our team proposes adding another step to the proposal execution process and incorporating quadratic voting in this second step.

How it's Made

Our project focused on conceptual solutions for DAO governance, developed through research and brainstorming. We proposed two key features:

  1. A second voting cycle involving top 50 high-impact delegates, identified by Kharma’s grading system.
  2. Quadratic voting within the second cycle, allowing delegates to allocate credits based on proposal parts’ importance.
