GD&D Dungeon Miner is a captivating simulation game where you witness the dynamic evolution of a massive dungeon carved out by three distinct NPC factions - Goblins, Dwarves, and Dragonkin, each mining in their unique style. You'll be engrossed as you observe their motivations such as greed, hunger, stamina, and bravery guide their actions in pursuit of gold and survival. Watch as they eat, sleep, fight, retreat, or even die, all in a rich, changing environment filled with gold nodes, food resources, and various tiles. In GD&D Dungeon Miner, there's no direct control; instead, you are Participating in the creation of a living, breathing dungeon that grows and adapts on its own. It's a fusion of strategy and simulation where the dungeon's design is the game. Watch, strategize and be fascinated as the world of GD&D Dungeon Miner unfolds before your eyes.

How it's Made

GD&D is built with MUD and runs on a vanilla Optimism rollup meant to join the OP Stack. The map generation is done using the Wave Function Collapse technique and allows to have on-chain non-deterministic map generation where tiles in the dungeon don't exist until a player gets close enough to explore them. It's not exactly fog of war as we are not hiding information from the player, the information actually does not exist until a player triggers the Exploration System to generate neighboring dungeon tiles.
