GlobePrice turns everyday real-world transactions into trusted sources of global price data
People purchase products and services frequently. At the same time, governments, companies, and universities need real-time prices of products and services globally. GlobePrice rewards users for submitting their everyday real-world transactions on-chain, creating a trusted source of global price data that governments, companies, and universities can use.
This project has been created to be a "compelling, well-architected concept for a 'killer app' on Zircuit—an application so impactful it inspires builders, excites users, and becomes a reference point for future innovation".
I used Zircuit as the blockchain for the protocol as it has Sequencer level security, which can prevent false price data from being added on-chain. It also enables account abstraction, which allows for gasless submissions for price-reporters (everyday users submitting their real-world transactions), as the customers (the organisations needing the price data) can cover gas. It also allows for reputation-based wallets and can track price-reporter performance and restrict low-rated price-reporters.
