Project Description

GlobalX.money is a cross-border remittance platform that delivers money from outside India to INR bank accounts in under 10 seconds using stablecoin settlement rails. Traditional systems like SWIFT take 3-4 days, charge high fees, and hide costs in poor FX rates.

With GlobalX.money, users enjoy:

  1. Instant settlement vs. days-long waits.
  2. +40 bps better-than-market FX rates through exclusive partner agreements.
  3. Zero fixed fees, making transfers affordable for both small and large amounts. 4.Full transparency so senders and receivers know exactly what will be received and who'll be receiving.
  4. Additional rewards: holding PayPal USD (PYUSD) earns a 4% yield, adding an extra layer of value for users and helping sustain the platform.
  5. More form factors like within chatgpt or the AI tools they like using GlobalX MCP Server.

India, the largest remittance market ($125B+ annually), is the starting point, but GlobalX.money is already planning to expand into licensed corridors across Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Europe, and the Philippines. Our vision is to become the global settlement layer for remittances, be a rail with faster, cheaper, and more transparent infrastructure.

How it's Made

Our Tech Architecture:

  1. Frontend: Built with Next.js + React, using Wagmi hooks for ERC-20 wallet connection.
  2. Smart Contracts: Solidity contracts manage PYUSD deposits, escrow, and settlement events, ensuring transparency and auditability.
  3. Identity & Compliance: (a) Self’s on-chain SDK restricts contract access to only verified senders. (b) Self’s off-chain verification ensures recipients complete KYC before INR payouts.
  4. TEE Screening: All wallets are screened inside a Trusted Execution Environment before use.
  5. Backend: Node.js + PostgreSQL manage remittance records, while Redis caches FX quotes and handles expiry timers.
  6. AI Layer: An MCP server enables natural language remittances (e.g., “Send $500 to Maadhav in Delhi”).
