GHOTip

GHOTip introduces a novel tipping experience, centered around privacy . By integrating Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) and the $GHO stablecoin, the platform enables users to discreetly confirm their tips, ensuring the privacy of customers.

Consumers have the option to pre-deposit tips into a shared pool, a 'vault' dedicated to service staff, which preserves the anonymity of the depositor.

This approach benefits three key groups:

1. Consumers tip comfortably and privately, free from social pressure.
2. Service staff get their full tips directly, no cuts.
3. Merchants process tips easily, keeping service top-notch.

GHOTip fosters a more equitable and transparent environment for all parties involved.

GHOTip leverages Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) for secure and anonymous transactions. It utilizes a smart contract system where users deposit tips in $GHO stablecoin into server's vault contract(GhoTip contract) anonymously. Drawing inspiration from Tornado Cash, this approach introduces enhanced anonymity and security. Every vault contract(GHOTip contract) would only accept fixed amount of $GHO in each deposit, and currently we provide 0.1GHO and 0.5GHO, two kinds pool. By using fixed tip amounts, GhoTip further safeguards user anonymity, making the tipping process uniform and discreet. And users can safely verify their payment of Tips with proof, which won't reveal users' identity during depositing.

The zkp part is inspired by Tornado Cash and using circom&snarkjs for development. The project is using GHO as stable payment, connectKit for connecting wallet and wagmi for interactions with blockchain.
