GHOPRD

Hundreds of predictions and promises are made daily on social media. And it's very difficult to distinguish reliable from the junk. Strong predictions are those that are backed by money. To make predicting stronger bake some liquidity into it. We build a simple tool to enhance trust in these predictions or to profit from them by betting on them or on your own predictions. Our dapp allow to make it easee using GHO for Web2 and Web3 users. It's a small and easily embeddable.

The project idea of strong predictions was born as one of the pieces of the digital identity.

We used MUI to build the dapp UI and @family's connectkit for the wallet connect functionality.

GHOPRD is built on top of Ethereum, so our backend is primarily developed on Solidity. There are two main contracts on the backend now: for staking assets and for DAO functionality, which makes decisions about the outcome of the event.

User can place a bet on a prediction in any asset of their choice (tokens, fiat), which will then be equated to GHO. In this way, any bet will always be equated to the stable coin GHO and earn during the freezing period through the AAVE protocol. Thus, when the event occurs, the winner receives a larger payout, while the loser retains a small portion of the lost money.
