Looking Ahead: While currently providing data insights, GHO Lens aims to evolve beyond observation. Future plans include enabling users to actively participate in markets by offering collateral and borrowing, provide the infrastructure to create new potential Facilitators for GHO

GHO Lens utilises Ethereum smart contracts to display data directly from the blockchain. More specifically, the smart contracts are queried with Ethers.js to provide data that I later used to populate different pages of the UI. In addition, I have implemented a couple of APIs, such as Etherscan API, to fetch and display data regarding user holdings and ticket prices. In order to achieve the above, I chose to work with Next.js 14 which offers a variety of build-in tools, such as as file based routing, SSR which aim to make the developer experience easier and of course pleasant while at the same time boosting the app performance. Another important part of the process, is the utilisation of Typescript to provide type safety since we work with sensitive data and queries. For the Front-end part I used Tailwind.css and on top of that shadcn, which is a popular, newly introduced tool built on top of Tailwind.css helping with even more utility when styling.
