frostgun is a threshold wallet (k out of n signing) integrated in hardware. FROST is a threshold signature scheme, specified in a BIP draft that allow a 2 round MPC protocol performed unchain to authentify on the behalf of a subset of users. It is currently intended for classical curves like k1 and r1, but FROSTGUN adapts it for babyjujub.
The project combines both software wallet implementation built on the top of zkkit with a hardware implementation built on the top of BOLOS. This provide the property of an unruggable wallet, if Ledger backdoors its device, the software wallet will provide resistance to the backdoor, while in the opposite Ledger provides the resilience to malware the software wallet doesn't.
