A dApp which is essentially a modified payment method of various OTT platforms where the user pays according to the watch time hours and not just buy for the whole month.
Project Description
This project is to bring more balance to users on payment methods to OTT platforms. It is just one of the use cases of Pay-Per-View which can later be modified to include concerts and many one-time visits places. This is not going to stay just an OTT platform but much more. We want users to stay out of trouble and pay only for what the watch.
How it's Made
We used the hyperspace testnet to power it with a smart contract to keep track of the user's watch time. Then, lighthouse comes to save as it allows encrypted uploads of files which only the specific users can view and allows to share files with users whose subscription for hours is paid.
