The entire Fremes experience is within a frame and native to the farcaster protocol. Fremes allow users to buy and sell iconic memes. Memes are a crypto rite of passage, and Fremes are the easiest way to find and create hidden gems. Leveraging the farcaster network simultaneously solves the cold start problem incentivizing people to join the protocol through viral loops. If you figure out a motif or idea that is going to catch on, you capture the meme and create your own Freme

Freemes, a unique creation born from the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as OpenGraph, AirStack, XMTP, and WarpCast, along with the inspiration drawn from FriendTech's smart contracts, offer an unparalleled experience within the Farcaster ecosystem.
we forked the original friend.tech contract and made a few improvements:
- We’ve adjusted the bonding curve from friend.tech based on Farcasters existing usage and predicted growth to allow for larger communities to comfortably participate.
- We’ve made the platform less focused on crypto influencer shilling, and instead surrounding the ideas and lore creating within Farcaster communities
- By focusing on memes and subcultures as the primary value driving factor, we’ve constructed a uniform playing field for even the smallest accounts to moon.
Community focus was our north star when creating freme.wtf. All trade actions incur a protocol fee that is redistributed back to freme holders. These fees are redistributed every season.
For every trade on Fremes.wtf we allocate an ample amount to the community and creators of Fremes. Up to 6.5% in fees go to the original Creator and Community, with the protocol collecting 3.5%.
In addition, when you setup your Freme you can choose upto 2 Farcaster accounts to get 0.5% of fees in perpetuity! All they have to do is buy your Freme, the earlier they get in the better.
