Foresight

Foresight is prediction market infrastructure on the Superchain. Research shows prediction markets are more accurate in predicting events than polls and surveys. However, current prediction markets cannot be created permissionlessly because they get spammed with markets that are bad for society such as assassination markets. This makes it challenging to capture local events (most prediction markets today have the same few markets like US elections, Olympic events etc). Foresight solves this and empowers anyone to create local markets that are accessible to the masses.

Foresight leverages an AI driven reputation system to prevent bad markets. We expect a DAO to decide on the specific AI model in the future. Also markets can be resolved without a operator based on price feeds, on chain data and publicly available online data that can be accessed and scraped.

Foresight is built on top of Base. It leverages Alchemy's embedded accounts to make the experience similar to a web2 app. This reduces friction to get started and also makes Foresight accessible to the masses. Foresight also uses World ID to verify unique humans and attribute reputation scores to their ID based on the quality of the markets that they create. It uses Pyth to resolve price feeds related prediction markets. FInally, Blockscout is used for giving users the ability to check transactions on-chain.
