FinalPass
FinalPass bring an extra opportunity for fans to get to their team's final match. Being a FAN token owner of the finalist grants them the right to buy an experience (like a ticket + hotel + flight) at a predetermined price below market rate.
Project Description
FinalPass is the space where the team fans can get better deals to go to the final match of any competition (World Cup, Super Bowl, US Open Final, etc.)
Based on the price difference between the tickets just released and the last-day costs, FinalPass will grant certain amounts of packages (hotel + flight + ticket) as soon as they are released (with the help of future partners that are interested in selling us a batch of packages). Then we can offer them via the FinalPass business plan:
World Cup case (48 teams):
1-Partners give FinalPass 20 packages for the final, lets say 5K each 1 year in advance.
2- FinalPass release a collection of 10 FAN tokens for each team, 480 NFTs, where just 20 will be able to be burned (2 teams) to go to the final.
3- Users can buy the FAN token of the team they support ( 20$-100$ each), knowing in advance that as soon as their team qualify for the final, they will be able to burn the NFT to buy the package for a similar price (around 5k), even when the game is a few days away (usually at this moment the price for the full package have done an x5 already).
4- However, the FAN token can be sold at any moment during the competition, for cases where the owner cannot assist or they want to profit from their "coupon", which allows the owner to get a package that is already way more expensive.
How it's Made
We used Next.js to build the Frontend and some of their components (Router, Layout, Next/Image, CSS components).
To allow the user to purchase the FAN token, we have used the UNLIMIT protocol because the idea is users never notice they are interacting with crypto. Fiat payments will trigger FinalPass to send the FAN token to the wallet created behind the scenes (explain below).
We used Privy to allow users to log in to FinalPass using any of their social accounts, such as Google, Apple, etc. They don't interact with any Web3 terms, but behind the scenes, they will hold the FAN Token in the public address generated when the login is completed. This allows us to reach non-crypto users as well and go viral.
We used Base to deploy our NFT collection (ERC-1155) because we believe that having the number of users that Coinbase has, we can bring the next billion users on-chain.
