Filroad

We all have come across the site "Gumroad" at some point of time. Keeping in mind the purpose it solves and a whole new way to decentralise it, we came up with "Filroad"- one stop platform for all creators and dataDAO aggregator. Filroad follows a simple workflow - A creator logs in to our platform via wagmi wallet - joins the DataDAO which best represents their product category and request to join it/creates a DAO if they cannot find the right DAO - list the products. The buyer can login to platform and directly purchase from the buyer. At the time of selling the seller has to get the consensus from the DAO. Once the seller is in, he proposes a new deal with all the file details, DataDAO Members (Paying Buyers, Reputed Sellers) can vote on product being uploaded and after Voting Approval, store data on filecoin.

We built the project on the Nextjs framework. The client firsts logs in to the platform using the wagmi client. We have integrated fvm to make deals for the sellers on their product to store it on the filecoin network. We have used saturn for the CDN to fetch the content uploaded on IPFS to accelerate the data retrieval process. The service for browser client is registered in the layout.tsx file of the app dir. We used Spheron Browser client SDK to upload and pin the files on the IPFS. For storing the data about the Product and DAOs, we used the Polybase database . The Product Schema contains details about the product such as id, name, the DAO it belongs to, author and the IPFS link for the same. The DAO schema contains the DAO name, Products , id and image.
