Fhellow

Fhellow uses Fhenix FHE and FIlecoin to achieve a decentralized marketplace in which users can buy decription keys to encrypted content stored in ipfs. The platform aims to not involve any middleman and yet guarantee a layer of privacy for users. Also the permanency of the files its very important. Think about physical albums, cds etc you probably still hold em. The project aims to restore a model where the buyer holds what he buys

Fhedora is built mainly on Fhenix blockchain. This becasue to work in a decentralized way, we needed a platform to store decryption key in a secure way and grant access long term. We also kept in mind users privacy, both creators and buyers. So we leveraged FHE to perform confidential payments and create an access layer in a simple and efficent way.

We also leveraged Lighthouse, a service built on filecoin that we used to publish our encrypted data on ipfs and ensure the file dosen't get lost after a while.

The flow is pretty simple A creator uploads a file to our client. The client upload the file on ipfs where its stored encrypted. After the CID is obtained, the relative key is injected along with sale params.

After that anyone can buy a copy, thus unlocking permit to read the decryption key and use it to access the content
