Project Description
The Christmas Gift Mini App on Farcaster brings the joy of the holiday season to Web3. Users can buy ornaments to decorate their friends’ Christmas trees or create their own. When all 12 ornaments are collected, they can mint a unique NFT that combines their tree and decorations. Each combination is one-of-a-kind, making it a special holiday keepsake.
ETH collected through the app is donated to charity in the names of the user and their friends who helped decorate the tree, combining fun, creativity, and the spirit of giving. Built on Farcaster, the app lowers Web3 barriers, offering a simple and festive way to engage with blockchain technology.
How it's Made
We built a Farcaster-based mini app using the Frog framework for a seamless user experience. Smart contracts were developed and deployed with Hardhat, ensuring secure ETH transactions and unique NFT generation. This combination allowed us to create a simple yet powerful platform that makes Web3 more approachable.
