Project Description

Family Office started with a simple question: how do you get your mom to invest in crypto? You don’t do it with just another flashy dapp — you need to do it by building trust directly into the protocol.

In traditional finance, a “family office” is a specialised financial management firm for the ultra-rich families. But why should wealth coordination be a privilege of the few? Every family deserves the ability to pool resources, share risk, and access the same complex financial strategies.

DeFi today is whales versus isolated individuals. We already have protocols that let strangers trade trustlessly. What’s missing are protocols that help people who already trust each other — families, friends — collectivize and coordinate on-chain.

That’s where liquidity pool hooks come in. This MVP uses a custom Uniswap v4 wrapper pool hook so families can pool PYUSD in one click, appear as a single LP, and have their coordination strategy managed at the protocol level — not just in the frontend. PYUSD makes the entry point simple and familiar, while the hook enforces the rules of pooling, risk-sharing, and collective participation.

Family Office brings real-world trust into the trustless world of DeFi.

How it's Made

Family Office is a trust-cascading liquidity protocol built on Uniswap v4 that democratizes DeFi access by enabling families to pool resources collectively, share risk through innovative IL distribution mechanisms, and access sophisticated liquidity strategies previously available only to institutional players.

The protocol leverages v4's hook architecture to create a parallel DeFi ecosystem optimized for trust-based collectives rather than competing individually in whale-dominated public pools.

With One click the WhalePoolWrapper.sol collectivizes the community/families and behaves like a single liquidity provider in the public pools.

The demo uses a PYUSD/WETH pool.
