FairPass

Event tickets as Hedera NFTs with resale royalties, World ID, ENS names, and secure gate check-in

Project Description

Fair Pass turns event tickets into Hedera NFTs. Organizers create collections with a face value and resale royalty. Fans buy tickets minted on purchase, resell on a marketplace, and check in at the gate with a signed QR. World ID ensures one person gets one wallet, limits secondary purchases, and confirms the real ticket holder at entry. We also use ENS subnames so users and tickets get readable names instead of raw Hedera account IDs like 0.0.xxxxx, making wallets, listings, and ownership easier to follow. This stops fake tickets and blocks sellers from using old QR codes after resale.

How it's Made

Built with Next.js and SQLite. Hedera HTS handles NFT mint-on-buy, atomic resales with on-chain royalties, and freeze at gate check-in. HCS logs ticket lifecycle events. World ID (IDKit v4) verifies humans at signup, login, resale, and gate entry. Gate passes use HMAC-signed QRs with expiry and pass generation bumps on transfer. Mirror Node confirms live NFT ownership. ENS subnames on Sepolia give readable wallet and ticket names. The Hedera SDK signs all on-chain actions from custodial accounts.
