FairBnb is an app that lets verified hosts list their property with zkProofs of their ownership.
Project Description
Rental markets are rife with fake listings and scams. On the other hand, hosts dont really want to share too much private info on their business or lease agreements to prove they are legit. So I created FairBnb that lets hosts create verified listings with their identity as well as proof of ownership to add authenticity to listings.
How it's Made
Fairbnb uses a Privy embedded wallet on iOS. Once the wallet is generated, a user profile is created. This user profile is unverified by default. The verification is done via Self zk protocol, where info such as owner, OFAC sanctions etc. are checked for. Once the user is verified, they are granted the verified status.
Proof of ownership is managed via 0G, where a picture of the lease agreement is shared in a TEE to check the user details against the rental agreement to ensure they have access to the document.
