##A P2P (peer-to-peer) network for AI inference creates a free and open market to solve these problems. It connects two types of participants:
For Consumers, Developers, end-users, or even other AI agents can access a wide range of models. Instead of a subscription or a fixed-price plan, they pay for each request, ensuring they only spend what they use.
The Problem
Today's AI is dominated by centralized APIs, leading to fixed, high costs, and a single point of failure for censorship and geographic restrictions. Meanwhile, vast amounts of GPU power sit idle, a global resource that is not being utilized.
The Solution
ETH Inference Network is a permissionless, peer-to-peer marketplace that connects those with idle GPU power to developers and AI agents in need of computing resources. Using our network, you can access a free market for AI models, where prices are set by competition, not by a corporation.
The Technology
We’ve built ETH Inference Network on the Base blockchain and leverage CDP Wallets and the x402 protocol to enable instant, per-request micropayments directly between users and providers. This allows us to create a truly trustless, pay-as-you-go system.
Why It Matters
ETH Inference Network isn't just an app; it's a foundational layer for a new AI economy. We are building the tools to enable a future where AI is accessible, censorship-resistant, and its value is shared across a decentralized network. We are building a system of interconnected, autonomous AI agents that can buy and sell intelligence on their own, proving our alignment with the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance's vision of a decentralized, agent-driven ecosystem.
