ETH India Game
A game to experience ETH India Hackathon from a BUILDers perspective and earn some NFTs and Tokens on the way!
Project Description
The project - 'ETH India Game' is not a problem solver, but a game which is built to rejoice the entire hackathon.
The game is a 2D endless runner game which is a fun, beginner friendly, interactive game. It tells the journey of all the participants present at ETH India Hackathon hacking continously for the past 36hrs despite all the challenges thrown at them. The user will be playing as the main character which is a BUIDLer and while building (or running) you need to avoid obstacles by jumping and also earn some points along the way.
You can play this game for free and can earn some $EIG tokens and also obtain some points to get NFTs minted directly to your wallet.
Two ways in which you can score -
- The distance you travel accounts for the $EIG token you get in your wallet.
- You collect NFT points while playing the game. This will in-turn give you some 'unofficial ETHIndia NFTs' on opensea.
How it's Made
Challenges -
- First and foremost this is my first web3 hackathon where I have done all the web3 part like writing smart contracts, deploying tokens and configuring my project.
- Being an Android Developer switiching into the web tech stack and build a game out of it was quite challenging for me.
- Finding the right game assets and sprites that too free to use and copyright free was a tough task.
