EquiPilot is a solution designed to transform how early-stage startups structure and manage equity. By offering tokenization, on-chain verification, and smart contracts, we reduce common pitfalls such as founder disputes, high legal costs, and information asymmetry. Our workflow empowers CEOs to easily create representative tokens for their companies, facilitates streamlined equity allocation among team members, and supports project-based equity management for more accurate contribution tracking. Built on insights from Silicon Valley Startup Conferences and real-world founder experiences, EquiPilot drives greater sustainability and success for budding ventures.

We developed EquiPilot with a combination of Web3 technologies and traditional software APIs. At the core, we leverage the METAL API to quickly spin up representative tokens (akin to shares), ensuring users can get started on the blockchain without extensive setup. We then integrate email-based onboarding to guide each co-founder or team member through setting up a holder account and wallet, making the experience as simple as possible. Our smart contracts, deployed on a public blockchain, automate processes like equity allocation and vesting, minimizing manual oversight and reducing the chance of errors. By combining these partner technologies and an iterative development approach informed by continuous user feedback, we’ve created a flexible, transparent solution that helps startups handle equity distribution in a clear, data-driven manner.
