Ephi

Inspired by Solana Actions and Blinks and Forecaster Frames, the Ephi ephemeral blinks extend the web3 ecosystem to any web2 environment. We achieve this by creating a browser extension that supports the embedding of mini context windows anywhere on the web. The Phi plugin is able to interpret the special blinks anywhere on the web and render a dynamic html context window. The html and javascript code is retrieved from the IPFS protocol. When clicking on an action inside the context window, the user will be prompted to sign a transaction in his wallet and upon success the state of the context window will change accordingly. We also built a custom Ephi blink generator that enables anyone to choose from already built presets or create entirely new ones for any use case you can imagine. For the purpose of the hackathon we built three different Ephi blink examples. The first one is a bridging blink for bridging USDC from one chain to another using the Chainlink CCIP protocol. The second blink is a donation campaign blink, where users can donate to a cause. The third blink is a swap with built in referrals for the poster of the blink, enabling true web3 affiliate blinks. These examples are just a showcase of everything that can be built with our framework and plugin. We demoed our Ephi blinks on X where they are contained inside of tweets, but the same principle extends to any part of the web where text or blinks can be posted, such as Facebook posts, Twitch streams, Youtube comments, Reddit posts, Medium articles and so forth.
