Disco

Disco is a decentralized music database and marketplace. Users can upload information about a music release, or buy and sell NFT music releases within the marketplace. The goal of the Disco decentralized music database is to create an accessible, permission-less archive of music history around the world. Disco allows users not only to listen to new music, but to learn about the music they love. Disco music NFTs can also give fans access to exclusive Disco livestreamed performances and events.

We used Filecoin to store the data from the Disco music archive, as well as Lighthouse for use cases where data should be stored permanently. We used Huddle01 to host token-gated video meetings where fans and artists could connect. Wagmi.sh was used for authentication within our dapp.
