Devote

Devote looks to use Worldcoin's cutting edge proof-of-personhood to create a fair democratic process for governance in communities and DAO's. The project additionally uses decentralized storage in the form of Skynet, to store user IDs and ensure that each individual user is only able to create one account by verifying on Worldcoin. We hope to bring an end to the abuse of anonymous voting due to spam bots, burners, etc., and bring on an era of equity.

Worldcoin's ZKP verification allows us to ensure that each user of our dApp is only able to ever create one account, and as a result, is only able to vote a single time. We used the hosted page developed by Worldcoin as our preferred method of verification as we did not need to adjust any back end or data to be used in the rest of our dApp. Additionally, we used Skynet's demo model to create our polling platform, using their DAC's specifically to create functions to post and vote on polls.
