Project Description

Identifying the problem(s): For patients - Some researchers sell information to other parties, without your consent. For patients - Complete anonymity is lacking in the blockchain. For researchers - Regulations – for obtaining medical information – differ between different countries, making it hard to obtain a larger sample. For researchers - Difficulties validating whether or not medical information has been modified. Addressing the problem(s): Patients have to approve whether or not their information can be used as well as which institutions will have access to their information. Using the ZK Protocol (MINA), patients participating in a given study about a specific condition can share information that is only relevant to the specific condition, e.g., a patient participating in a study on diabetes will be able to share whether or not they have diabetes or how long they’ve had diabetes or whatever, without sharing that they have anxiety. Because patients are in full control of their data, obtaining medical information is more direct. Information on the blockchain is immutable, therefore, validating the source’s authenticity.

How it's Made

This project will use the @Mina, @ENS, @Push, and @Unlock protocols.

We will use @Mina ZK feature to manage the statistical data without revealing the person's information.

@ENS will be integrated into DNS resolver to improve the UI/UX of the platform as well as improve payment between parties.

@Push to notify users and request consent whether their data can be used or not with a research institution.

@Unlock Use their membership base system for researchers to have access to the platform.
