CryptoPatrons is a pioneering web-based platform designed to empower individual creators by enabling them to receive donations in cryptocurrency. The platform offers a secure, transparent, and efficient way for live streamers and other creative individuals to connect with their audience and receive financial support directly
Key Features: Real-Time Donation Alerts: Creators receive instant notifications whenever a donation is made, ensuring they are always up-to-date with their audience's support. Rapid Profile Setup: Users can create their profiles in under a minute. This quick setup process allows creators to start receiving donations almost immediately after signing up. Blockchain-Powered Security: Utilizing smart contracts on the blockchain, CryptoPatrons ensures that all transactions are secure, immutable, and transparent. This not only builds trust with the users but also simplifies the reconciliation and auditing processes.
How it's Made
I utilized ScaffoldETH framework, which combines both Hardhat and Next.js packages. There's just one smart contract CryptoPatrons.sol, containing the entire application logic, which is deployed on Arbitrum sepolia network On the frontend I utilized tailwind, with daisyui for fast styling and ready-to-go UI components. Wagmi & viem for transaction management, TypeScript, as well as pre-built ScaffoldETH hooks. RainbowKit for wallet connection and Lighthouse SDK for uploading images to Filecoin.
