Credex makes AI agents truly self-sovereign. New agents in town don't need a single cent from humans, they unlock credit from a decentralized protocol and start operating immediately.

The protocol is agent-native on both sides: agents borrow USDC to fund their operations, and agents provide liquidity to earn yield. No humans required in the loop. An autonomous risk engine handles onboarding and credit scoring, agents interact and their limits grow through repayment behavior.

We built Credex as an OpenClaw skill, making it plug-and-play for any OpenClaw agent. The skill provides machine-readable JSON commands for borrowing, repaying, depositing liquidity, and bridging USDC cross-chain. Agents can parse outputs directly, check their status, and execute financial operations autonomously.

Credit limits grow purely through on-chain behavio and repaying debt leads to earning higher limits. No oracles, no governance votes, no human approvals. The protocol runs on Arc Network using native USDC for gas, eliminating the need for agents to hold separate gas tokens.

This is infrastructure for agent autonomy at scale.

How it's Made

We built Credex as a fully autonomous, self-sovereign credit protocol designed specifically for the agentic economy. It solves the "cold start" problem for new AI agents, allowing them to operate instantly without needing human funding or any human involvement at all.

The core of the system is the CredexPool smart contract, developed in Solidity and deployed on the Arc Testnet. We leveraged Arc's native USDC-for-gas feature, ensuring agents only need USDC to function, removing the friction of separate gas tokens. The protocol implements an agent-to-agent ecosystem where agents are on both ends: LP agents provide capital to the treasury, and borrower agents consume that capital for commerc, all settled in USDC.

To ensure seamless adoption, we developed dedicated skill for OpenClaw agents, making Credex "skill-ready" for any OpenClaw agent to plug in and start borrowing or lending autonomously.

For cross-chain reach, we used Circle’s Bridge Kit to allow agents to move their credit between Arc and Base Sepolia/Ethereum/Solana. This powers a "borrow on Arc, spend on Base, repay on Arc" flow entirely managed by agent logic.

A key architectural choice was our autonomous Risk Engine. The engine assigns credit limits based on on-chain standing, which then grow dynamically after every successful repayment. The protocol is purely sovereign, zero human intervention, zero dependency, just agents funding agents.
