COMPensator

COMPenstator is a decentralized platform allowing COMP token holders to delegate their voting power and earn COMP rewards. COMPenstator enhances participation and engagement in the Compound Governance ecosystem with rewards for delegated voting. It brings a new mechanism for delegates to compete for voting power. The protocol contracts also provide a framework for multiple delegations, where delegators can delegate to multiple delegates.

COMPensator is build using Solidity and Foundry for the backend and React, WAGMI, and Rainbowkit on the fronted. The backend consists of a Compensator contract that manages delegator reward claiming and management as well as a Compensator Factory contract that supports permissionless provisioning of Compensator contracts. The frontend was built using the iMuzz/web3-starter project from Github and adapted to implement a delegate list, delegator interface for delegations and rewards claiming, and delegate dashboard for managing rewards for their delegators. The project was simulated against mainnet using Tenderly's Fork feature. Hardhat scripts were used for the deployment of the contracts.
