Commemorative NFT

NFTs have only resonated with Art sector and have helped empower artists to sell their works to a wide audience. However, NFTs are much more.

Encouraging users to mint NFTs for day to day events is key to familiarise users to the concept. For a start, this encourages users to mint a NFT for important events.

Using the Zora platform, the user can create a

1. Memories NFT (or a DropNFT) - This is meant to be created just to hold by the user. For example, your child's first birthday or the day of your wedding proposal is something precious and minting a NFT for the special occasion is a nice way to remember this day.

2. Events NFT (or an Edition NFT) - This is meant for events which others will attend or view. With an open edition, other users can mint NFTs to contribute/gift for the event. Well-wishers would mint one or more NFTs as a way to gift to a wedding couple. Same way, a charity event can receive lot of contribution by NFT edition minters. This leaves a trail for the NFT minter also to hold an acknowledgement of this payment. The recipient is also aware as to who contributed/gifted.

• Scaffold-eth for the project base. Just for ease of use rather than the fit.
• NFT-Storage to hold the image/metadata. This integration is still being worked upon during time of submission.
• ZoraNFTCreator to create the Drop and Editions.

This project is more of a marketing approach than a technical accomplishment.
