Sybil-resistant onchain reputation with Self Protocol for fair DAO voting and airdrops.
Ethereum Reputation Passport is a comprehensive Sybil-resistant reputation system that combines on-chain activity analysis with privacy-preserving identity verification to create a fair and secure foundation for DAO governance and Web3 applications. Think of it as a "credit score for Web3" that proves you're both a real human and have good on-chain behavior - without revealing your personal information.
The Core Problem It Solves is right now DAOs are vulnerable to governance manipulation, one person can create 100+ fake wallets, Each wallet votes in DAO proposals, the attacker controls governance decisions, and real community members lose their voice and also most frequent Airdrop Farming, bots create thousands of wallets, each wallet claims token airdrops, real users get diluted rewards, token distribution becomes unfair leads to no trust
we used Next.js, typescript, and tailwind css, for smart contracts we used solidity and hardhat, then to gather the data we used The Graph Protocol (partnered), Etherscan, then for the identity we used Self Protocol (Partner) and their zero knowledge proofs, and AI by OG (Partner) Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) - non-transferable reputation, Zero-knowledge proofs for privacy-preserving identity Hacky Solutions: Address-based pseudo-scoring for consistent fallbacks, fairness adjustments prevent user exclusion, multi-path scoring ensures everyone can participate, sybil resistance through identity verification
