Project Description

CareAI is a decentralized AI-powered support system designed to enhance customer services. It provides automated, intelligent, and efficient customer assistance while ensuring user security and privacy through decentralized authentication.

How It Works - CareAI acts as a virtual support agent that handles customer inquiries, complaints, and issue resolutions. Users access the platform through a decentralized authentication system, eliminating the need for traditional email or password logins. Once authenticated, they can navigate a structured interface to seek assistance for food delivery or eCommerce-related concerns.

The system maintains a record of all user interactions, including chat history, issue status, and resolutions. Customers can track the progress of their support requests, view past conversations, and provide feedback on resolutions. If a chat is marked as resolved, users cannot send additional messages, ensuring a structured and organized support flow.

CareAI is designed to handle common customer issues, reducing dependency on human support agents. It can assist with order tracking, refund requests, delivery status updates, and general inquiries. For complex issues that require human intervention, the system can escalate cases while retaining all relevant context to ensure seamless communication.

CareAI aims to make customer support more efficient, reducing resolution time while maintaining a high level of accuracy and user satisfaction. It ensures a streamlined and structured approach to handling support requests, improving both the customer and business experience.

How it's Made

How It’s Made – Architecture & Technologies -

Frontend – React (Vite) + Chakra UI The UI is built using React (Vite) for speed and performance, with Chakra UI providing a clean, accessible, and responsive design. The chat interface allows users to navigate past conversations, check issue statuses, and track resolutions. The experience is designed to be simple but effective, ensuring users can get the help they need without friction.

Authentication – Powered by Privy Instead of traditional login methods, CareAI uses Privy for wallet-based authentication, giving users a secure and decentralized way to log in. This removes the need for email or passwords while enhancing privacy and security. Privy makes authentication frictionless and aligns with the broader decentralized approach of the platform.

AI-Powered Support – Built with Coinbase’s AgentKit At the core of CareAI is an AI-powered support system designed to automate common customer inquiries. Using AgentKit by Coinbase, the chatbot can assist with order tracking, refunds, delivery updates, and general inquiries. The AI understands context, retains conversation history, and can escalate complex issues to human agents while keeping all relevant details intact.

Decentralized Storage – Powered by 0G For secure and decentralized data storage, CareAI integrates 0G, a distributed storage solution that ensures chat logs and user interactions are securely stored. This reduces reliance on centralized servers and gives users more control over their data, aligning with the project's decentralized ethos.

How It All Comes Together -

Users log in with Privy wallets instead of traditional credentials.

The AI support system, powered by AgentKit, automatically handles customer issues, reducing the need for human intervention.

Conversations and issue history are securely stored using 0G, ensuring privacy and data integrity.

The React-based frontend provides a clean and intuitive user experience with easy navigation of chat history, issue statuses, and support categories.

Chanllenges - Decentralized data storage: Using 0G to store chat logs was quite tricky. I wanted to build a. support chat SDK which any business could use but it took time to understand how the storage would work and how to structure the project. Eventually, I built a proof of concept.
